Hotel Residence Torino Centro

The hotel is new, clean and attractive inside and the staff were very nice and helpful as to how to get around town, to the stadium, airport, etc. and what to see and do. Our room was quite large, with a big balcony, was well appointed and had the most comfortable beds/pillows of any hotel I have stayed in. It was a great choice and good value for the price. It was right next to the Porta Susa train and metro stations, with a bus stop at the front door for going into town and at the station for going to the stadium and airport. I would gladly stay there again.

The breakfast was a little carb. heavy but was ample and adequate. The walk to town around or through the train station is a bit tedious with the construction, but hopefully that will be resolved when it is finished. The convenience of the train and metro were great though.

New hotel, great staff always willing to help and assist. Room is huge and very clean, free wi-fi internet that worked very well, on of main train and subway stations in front of the hotel, great breakfast, great price-value relation compared to other hotels in the city.b

No comments. All was great and as expected.

The location was perfect for rail travel and our room was a good size

Clean, comfortable and right opposite Porta Suza station where we had to catch an early morning connection.

Traffic noise, but could be shut out by using air conditioning.

The quad room was very spacious and clean. The staff extremely friendly and helpful.

B'fast was good but could be slightly better. Parking near the hotel is not easy.

The room was spacious, calm and comfortable and the staff friendly. We were very grateful for the air conditioning as the weather was hot.

Please note that the parking is on the street in front of the hotel not in a private garage and it costs 15 euros. Free street parking was available on the opposite side.

Very close to Porta Sousa station. A very good option for the purposes already mentioned and particularly if in transit by rail. A functional hotel, unspectacular in its features but nonetheless perfectly comfortable. We found a similar sort of hotel in Milan, however, at just over half the price!

Well furnished rooms, excellent beds and bath, great cleaning service, very helpfulmstaff esp restaurant and reception. Breakfast was good quakity with plenty of choice and great cappucino. Despite the new train station porta sousa being built, nonsound or dirt at all. Fantastic artisanal ice cream store next door! Public transport in front of door.

Parking lot very good althoug difficult to reach with building works between it and hotel.

Nice big room with big balcony and mini kitchen-in-a-cupboard (two electric hobs, fridge, sink and pots, crockery etc). Clean and modern, with decent sized bathroom. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location for Porta Susa station and only a short walk into the centre of town, shops, bars etc. Couldn't hope to find a better 3 star hotel.

Twin beds pushed together to make a double - this seems to be standard practice in Italy.

We had a lovely suite in the Hotel & Residence Torino Centro. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking nearby was very affordable. And, the distance to visit the city was very walkable. We would definitely recommend this place to someone visiting Torino. We have two teenagers, so the extra room was very helpful in giving them space away from their parents.

The room was very large and airy, nicely furnished with comfortable beds.I Booked a single room but received a huge twin room. Complimentary bottles of water (still and sparkling) are in the fridge. The converted building is really quite magnificent, and the double glazing fronting on to quite a busy street was very effective. Breakfast is served in the cafe next door, accessed through a door off reception. It's just continental but very good - and the coffee was excellent!

The rooms are very basic in terms of facilities. There wasn't a spare blanket or spare pillows in the wardrobe. My mini bar contained water only, there wasn't so much as a bottle opener in the room. When I asked the reception staff (in an empty reception) if they had a corkscrew I could borrow, they told me I'd have to ask the bar next door - they could have stood up, opened their internal door right by their desk and asked the bar for me. Fortunately, the bar staff were most helpful when I went through to them. This was fairly indicative of the hotel reception staff - very perfunctory, answers to any questions were short and sweet.

Hotel staff was excellent, breakfast delicious.

The hotel doesn't have a parking place.

Situation, spacy rooms (especially the 3 bedroom), bathroom

Friendly staff and clean rooms with nice view not of Torino but of some nearby properties. I know that sounds weird but the properties were very attractive.

Lack of wifi facilities. One part of the hotel had very poor reception!
